Acclaimed young adult author and TV personality David Walliams has parted ways with his longtime publishing house, as confirmed by the firm.

A representative for the firm commented: "Upon deliberation, and under the leadership of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing any new titles by David Walliams."

It has been reported that the decision was made after an review of claims about questionable actions towards young women.

The firm has not elaborated on the specific rationale behind the move, noting: "We do not comment on internal matters."

A Highly Successful Writing Journey

Walliams stands as a most best-selling authors for kids, having sold in excess of 60 million copies internationally in 55 languages.

His first children's book, *The Boy in the Dress*, was released through HarperCollins back in 2008.

Several of his books, including *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have found new life as TV movies.

He has published more than 40 books altogether, encompassing a holiday title named *Santa & Son*, which was published by HarperCollins this past October.

Television and Literature

His career breakthrough occurred on the television comedy show *Little Britain* and has also won National Television Awards for his work as a judge on *Britain's Got Talent*.

He was awarded an OBE several years ago in recognition of his work for charity and the arts.

This development follows the selection of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's freshly installed boss this past October.
