Red Bull has revealed a new line-up for the 2026 F1 campaign, promoting Frenchman Isack Hadjar to its A-team and awarding British teenager Arvid Lindblad his debut F1 drive. The young driver, who is of Swedish and Indian heritage, will be the partner of Kiwi driver Liam Lawson at the second team Racing Bulls. This driver musical chairs sees Japan's Yuki Tsunoda exiting the grid after five seasons. A Star in the Making Arvid Lindblad participated in FP1 for the Silverstone and Mexican Grands Prix in the current season. The youngster was marked out as a potential future star by Red Bull since he was 12 years old. Discussing the company's junior academy, a key advisor previously said that Lindblad "seems extremely gifted", commending his "pure speed". The team prepared a programme since last year to ready Lindblad for his potential Grand Prix bow in 2026, featuring appearances in Grand Prix practice at the British and Mexican races. The rookie said it was a "proud moment", adding: "Next season represents a massive test, and I know there's much to understand, but I'm eager to collaborate with the team and step up. I am incredibly excited to get started." He has won two races in F2 this year and is sixth in the standings ahead of the final round in Abu Dhabi. A Major Opportunity for Hadjar Isack Hadjar celebrates his first podium in F1, achieved at the Zandvoort race in August. Hadjar's F1 career started in difficult fashion when he spun out on the formation lap of the first Australian Grand Prix. But, from that point, he has emerged as one of the stand-out rookies this season. He included an excellent top-three result at the Dutch Grand Prix, and he lies in tenth place in the drivers' standings. A senior team figure commented: "Isack has shown impressive growth and proved to be a quick learner. Most importantly, he has the raw speed that is the primary necessity in this sport. We believe he can succeed alongside Max." The promoted driver called it "a fantastic step" and said he felt "prepared". Tsunoda's Exit To partner Lindblad at the junior team, Red Bull have chosen Lawson over Tsunoda. The New Zealander started 2025 with the senior squad but was demoted after just two races. He has settled back in at Racing Bulls with some strong performances, convincing Red Bull he merits another season. The Japanese driver, in contrast, loses his place after a difficult season. His highest finish is a P6, and he has accumulated a minor percentage of the team's constructors' championship. These announcements confirm that there is also no place on the Red Bull academy for Ireland's Alex Dunne, who will remain in F2 for 2026.
