These three athletes have been recognised for their exceptional achievements over the last year. Agyemang was instrumental as the Lionesses win Euro 2025, Littler secured the world title for the maiden time, and Perrin burst onto the scene with a unprecedented innings. Littler won the award in 2024 after his sensational debut year. The shortlisted athletes were revealed during a live broadcast on a widely-listened-to radio show. The champion will be unveiled on the Sports Personality of the Year show on the 18th of December. The show will be televised from 7 PM GMT. The Football Star Age: 19 Sport: Football Just three months after her international debut, Agyemang played a dramatic and decisive role in England's run to winning the Euros. She came off the bench to score key tying goals in both the quarter-final and semi-final. Her incredible contributions led to her being named Young Player of the Tournament. Afterwards, she was awarded the Golden Girl award for the finest emerging star on the continent. She was also in contention for the Kopa Trophy for the world's best under-21 female player. Davina Perrin Age: 19 Sport: Cricket Perrin is one of English cricket's brightest emerging stars and surged to prominence with an remarkable and historic innings in August.
